Propelled by such popular Asian influences as yoga, sushi and feng
shui, it is only natural that green tea is becoming a staple in the
American diet. At the same time, the popularity of the cocktail
culture is driving liquor sales. Now
Zen, America’s first Green Tea
Liqueur has brought the two trends together. The tea
leaves used to make Zen are grown in Kyoto, Japan by Marukyu-Koyama-En,
a company that has been cultivating Japanese tea for more than 300
years. Leaves are carefully selected and infused with neutral
spirits for ten days. Then they are blended with a exotic herbs. The
result is an authentic green tea flavor that a perfect balance of
sweetness and bitterness.
